About Me

I completed my BA (Hons) degree majoring in Linguistics at the University of Melbourne. At Melbourne, I was a resident at Janet Clarke Hall, one of the 12 residential colleges at the University of Melbourne. I completed my Ph.D. in 2017 at the Department of Linguistics at UCLA in Los Angeles. I am currently Associate Professor in Phonology and Language Processing in the Faculty of Linguistics, Philology and Phonetics, at the University of Oxford. Previously, I was Reader in Linguistics in the Department of Linguistics at Queen Mary University of London (2017-2025).

Outside of linguistics, I regularly sing with various chamber choirs around London.
